event basis, with a focus primarily on direct writing of single
territory companies. The account is technically driven using our
in-house exposure rating tools, catastrophe modelling software and
experience rating. Territories covered include UK, Japan, Western
Europe, Caribbean, Taiwan and Turkey.
International Risk XL, like US Risk XL, is geared towards
reinsurance of first line commercial and industrial insurance
companies and is, likewise, technically driven using rating tools
to maintain a consistent and secure
approach.

Dominic Peters

Dominic joined Amlin in 1997 after graduating in History at Exeter University. He began his career as underwriter trainee on the US Catastrophe account before working his way up to his current role as leading class underwriter for excess of loss risks.
In addition to managing the international property treaty excess of loss portfolio, Dominic co-ordinates the purchase of Amlin’s outwards reinsurance.
