Amlin appoints Head of Aggregate Modelling

Amlin has appointed Jean-Bernard Crozet to the new role of Head of Aggregate Modelling for Amlin London, the global speciality business comprising aviation, marine, property & casualty and reinsurance business units.
Mr Crozet will report to Amlin London Underwriting Director, Simon Beale and take responsibility for the aggregate modelling function. The role includes setting the direction for modelling catastrophe risk in Amlin London and controlling risk aggregate within appetite. At an operational level, he will manage the aggregate modelling function, including risk management controls, compliance monitoring and aggregate reporting to management.
Since 2005, Mr. Crozet has worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers in London, where he is currently an Associate Director within the Actuarial Practice, responsible for leading a range of projects in the London Market, Bermuda and Europe, in relation to pricing, reinsurance, capital management and aggregation management. Between 1999 and 2005, he was Vice President & Underwriter for Alea (KKR Group) and OP Re (UPS Group) in Bermuda and before that, an Account Actuary with CNA Re in London.
Mr. Crozet is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries (FIA), a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society (FSS). A French national, he graduated from the Université de Lyon with a degree in Applied Mathematics & Social Sciences, and holds an MSc in Statistical Application for Business and Government.
