Steve McMurray joins Amlin as Head of Finance

Amlin plc is delighted to announce that Steve McMurray has joined the firm as Head of Finance, reporting to Group Finance Director, Richard Hextall.

 

McMurray was previously Chief Financial Accountant at the Bank of England where, with a staff of twenty, he held lead responsibility for production of the Bank’s annual report and regular executive management reports.  Prior to joining the Bank in 2003, McMurray spent eight years at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Banking and Capital Markets, Assurance and Business Advisory Services.  Latterly as Senior Manager, he led on audit, due diligence, public offerings and consultancy work for clients including JP Morgan, Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein and Goldman Sachs.

 

Commenting on his appointment, Richard Hextall said, “I am delighted that Steve has chosen to join Amlin and am confident that his experience and skills will prove hugely beneficial to Group as we continue to develop our London and Bermuda businesses”.
